Meknès-Tafilalet. Agricultural
oasis (over 100,000 palm trees, food crops, cereals, alfalfa), it is watered by
the river Gheris, from the central High Atlas. Goulmima, like other localities
Tafilalet, has many qçour (fortified villages) remarquables1. One of the most
important Ighrem not Igoulmimen, is being "rehabilitation", but this
earthen architecture, fragile, may be lost or distorted due to abandonment of
unwanted additions and "restorations "maladroites2

The population of Goulmima grew approximately 15.5% between the last two
censuses of 1994 and 2004, from 14 026 to 16 593 inhabitants.
